- I'm getting constant disconnects using my Sportster 33.6 in
- Windows95. I know that a lot of people have had this problem,
- but have yet to see a solution. If anyone has any suggestions,
- even trivial, please let me know. Here is what I have...:
-
- Sportster 33.6 External
- Windows 95
- 486DX2/66 with 16MB RAM
-
- The modem connects to my ISP or a BBS for about 1 second, then
- disconnects out of nowhere, sometimes freezing up my computer.
-
- I spoke to USR Tech Support, and they literally told me that
- Sportster and Win95 are not fully compatible. This is very
- disconcerting. If you need to know anymore about what programs
- I am runningm please feel free to e-mail me.
-
- I am using a friend's computer now, so please e-mail him with
- any suggestions with the name "Chance USR" somewhere in the
- subject line. TIA
-
- Chance W.
